About Us

What we can do for you

All of our customers have unique infrastructures and data management systems. There is a wide range of software our customers use, such as VCMS (Vector Control Management Systems), RapidMap, specially-configured ArcGIS systems, purpose-built PHP web systems, or systems that utilize access databases and excel spreadsheets. Of course, all of our customers to some extent still use pen-and-paper systems for dispatching and filing. Our customers have successfully integrated our data into all of these systems.

We offer two levels of service to our customers.

The Basic Survey Service consists of custom-shot aerial images which are geo-located, north facing, and highly detailed. You can view flight lines and image locations in Google Earth, ArcGIS, or any other mapping system. Tabular image location data is provided for use in spreadsheet applications. Turn-around time is fast and rush-processing is available for select areas.

The Address Index Service brings our expert analysis to the table. This is where we identify and locate green, half-empty, and at-risk swimming pools. We then provide the latitude/longitude of the pool, the address, extensive data processing support, and interfaces that allow the data to be displayed in any mapping system. We also allow districts to print customized technician dispatch reports. Turnaround time is three to five days from the flight date.

Our customer support is unparalleled. In order to get you up and running as soon as possible, we will send one of our expert staff members to your district to aid you in integrating our data with your processes. Telephone and e-mail support is also available.

Below is more detail about our two levels of service.

Basic Survey Service

bullet

Flight patterns based on user-specified requirements. This is typically an ArcGIS shape file or a Google Earth KML file that shows the boundaries of the survey area. We then take this and produce flight plans that include specific altitudes and flight lines. Flight lines are designed with adequate front-to-back and side-to-side overlap.

bullet

Flights altitude ranging from 2,500 to 10,000 feet above ground level (AGL), averaging 5,500' AGL for average pool detection flights.

bullet

Advanced patent-pending camera system. We use a full-frame, state-of-the-art Canon sensor and lens combination. Our camera system is integrated with and calibrated to onboard GPS systems. Aerial Services is a certified Canon, Microsoft, and Garmin developer.

bullet

Individual flights can cover up to 250 square miles.

bullet

All photographs are geo-located.

bullet

Flight tracks and image locations are visible in Google Earth or ArcGIS.

bullet

Data is available on our dedicated FTP server within 24 hours of survey flight.

Address Index Service

bullet
